Onsite Health Care – The Lodges
As part of the Fraser Health’s Mental Health network of services, the Riverview Lands are home to three lodges. These provide long-term intensive psychological rehabilitation for individuals who need help to manage their mental health:
- Connolly Lodge
- Cottonwood Lodge
- Cypress Lodge
A team of health-care professionals provide this support in a residential-care setting. Programs at the lodges emphasize recovery and effective life skills development. They also take an individualized approach to treatment and community living.
Future Health Care
Three existing mental-health and substance-use programs that are currently located at the Willingdon Care Centre in Burnaby will be relocated to the Riverview Lands. This relocation to different and larger facilities will improve operations as well as the overall health and safety of patients. The move will also enable more cooperation and interaction between the programs.
